      Job Skills / Requirements

      Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000

      JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      · Responsible for the preparation and administration of an hourly payroll (bi-weekly) while ensuring accuracy and completeness of timesheets, tickets, etc.

      · Compile and prepare payroll related reports before and after each payroll run

      · Process terminations including final pays and ROEs

      · Ensure the maintenance of accurate information – personnel files

      · Respond to enquiries from internal and external sources

      · Troubleshoot issues for appropriate resolutions

      SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

      · Must have at least one year of experience in payroll full cycle

      · Accuracy and speed in data entry an absolute must

      · Knowledge of Payroll practices and CRA Legislation

      · Must be proficient with Excel and able to grasp new software easily

      · Eager to learn and ability to apply newly acquired skills for immediate results

      · Ability to effectively work in a team environment

      · Strong attention to detail

      · Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

      · Completion or working towards Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) from the National Payroll Institute
