Job Description

- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of biweekly payroll using a web-based payroll system (Paylocity).
- Generate payroll reports, update general ledger with payroll costs and complete all required filings related to payroll and benefits. Prepare, process and ensure the accuracy of all year-end payroll requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records related to payroll, benefits, and tax information and complete all required filings.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and provide support for related issues. Reconcile discrepancies related to paychecks, benefits, and deductions.
- Prepare reports and participate in audits for work comp, health benefits, retirement accounts or other assigned areas.
- Process and enter expense reimbursements.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budgets, audits and tax returns.
- Maintain housing accounts and tenants’ ledgers using Buildium software.

Area Substance Abuse Council (ASAC) is seeking a Payroll Coordinator oversee the payroll process and provide support to the fiscal team on accounting functions.

Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a HS Diploma/GED, with two years of payroll experience. A degree in business administration, finance, or accounting, knowledge of and ability to implement current GAAP standards, and experience with Quickbooks, Paylocity, and ACA reporting is preferred.
