About The Role – 33412 - Payroll Officer (Centennial, CO)
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a Payroll Officer within our Orica North America Payroll Team focused on administrative support of payroll for Orica employees within the relevant region ensuring accuracy and compliance with Orica and legislative requirements.
What you will be doing
• Administers offline payroll data and processes
• Provides leave management advice and compliance
• Manages Service Now related to payroll
• Conducts payroll GL reconciliation and payment of invoices
• Executes payroll input and or management of external service providers
• Administers benefits relation to Region/Country
• Executes end of year processes and reporting
• Provides legislative advice to payments
• Provides Regular and AdHoc reporting
• Supports compliance to legislation and reporting as required
• Assists with Federal/state/local reporting requirements
• Assists with internal/external audits
• Processing payroll to include LTI, Severance, bonuses and other compensation
• Processing International Assigned payrolls
• Time and Attendance monitoring and administration
• Prepare and maintain reports for management and accounting purposes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll administration and implement changes with approval from the N.A Payroll Lead
• Assist N.A. Payroll Lead with payroll functions across North AmericaWhat you will bring
• At least five (5) years of Payroll processing experience.
• Familiarity with collective agreements is an asset.
• Ability to solve problems — essential.
• Precision, time management, organization.
• Strong communication, human relations and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work through interruptions and meet deadlines.
• Solid understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Effective communication with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.Role dimensions
• The position holder must be able to work in person at the Centennial, CO office for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Compensation Range
• $28.59 - $40.03 USD Per Hour
(Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
