      Position Overview

      This role is responsible for ensuring that payroll and payroll-related activities are processed appropriately, with guidance and general oversight from the Payroll Manager.

      *This position is based in Southern Oregon and is not eligible for remote work

      Key Result Areas (KRAs)

      Process payroll on time and accurately:

      • Run bi-weekly payroll for Dutch Bros. LLC

      • Process individualized payroll activities that include (but are not limited to):

      Garnishments
      Payroll Draws
      Direct deposits

      • Administer stand employee bonuses, as dictated by Finance/Accounting Departments

      • Distribute manual payroll checks

      • Process manual checks, as requested by the Human Resources Department

      • Protect DB operations by maintaining strict confidentiality

      • Track and update payroll change paperwork

      • Print pay stubs upon request

      Maintain clear, open communication with HR and Finance/Accounting Departments:

      • Create and maintain employee Payroll files for DB LLC

      • Support employees with the use of time and attendance software

      • Answer inquiries regarding employment verification

      • Assist employees with establishing online user access

      • Document and update DB LLC payroll processes, as needed

      • Other duties as assigned

      Respond to employee and HQ Payroll inquiries within 1 business day:

      • Provide payroll information to other departments, as needed, through reports, charts, graphs, or other requested presentation methods

      • Respond to Verification of Employment requests and wage verifications

      • Employee system troubleshooting

      • Assist with employee questions regarding W2s, Direct Deposit, and pay-stubs

      • Coordinate internal and external meetings, as needed, to ensure all departments, Operators, and Franchisees have the necessary information

      Job Qualifications

      • 1 year of payroll/HR/admin experience, required

      • High school degree, or GED, required

      • Associate degree preferred

      • Must have good mathematical skills

      • Prior DB experience preferred

      • Must be able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting required reporting

      • deadlines

      • Ability to work independently, with little supervision, and interact positively with others

      • Intuitive analytical skills to proactively address and identify accounting and operational issues

      • Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner

      Physical Requirements

      • Occasional lifting up to ten lbs.

      • Must be able to work in a climate-controlled office environment

      • Vision must be good, or corrected in order to perform essential job duties

      • Hearing must be good, or corrected in order to have the ability to understand information to perform essential job duties

      • Ability to read and write in English in order to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary

      • Sitting for extended periods of time

      • Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks

      $21.37 - $24.77
