- Under general supervision, compiles/maintain payroll records and processes wage and salary payments
- Prepares and inputs data according to weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, other schedules (i.e., regular payroll, miscellaneous payments, and adjustments)
- Maintains records on vacation, sick leave; may be responsible for Short Term Disability process
- Answers inquiries regarding payroll and time/attendance processes and systems
- Audits time entries and schedules, garnishment payments; calculates and processes special checks
- Process and monitor garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll specifications
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
- Timecard review for payroll processing, Experience with the collection of data for audits, other, data analysis
- Escalates payroll and time management issues to the payroll lead
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years' experience in payroll or accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, a preferred minimum of intermediate level
- Advanced knowledge of payroll and/or Time Management systems
- Workday, SAP or other HCM and Kronos preferred
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Excellent mathematical skills

Consequently, we are looking for an experienced professional who understands the unique factors involved in processing payroll for multiple locations within the U.S. We are seeking an individual who can work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Knowledge of tax and wage laws and common fiscal procedures necessary along with effective communication and computer literacy.
