      WHAT YOU'LL NEED

      Providing technical support for Resource Link and Governance compliance of all SOX and audit controls for the UK Payroll Operations. Reporting to the Payroll Compliance & Specialist Supervisor. Leading technical projects and driving forward change and efficiencies to support business strategies.


      • Be a key contact within the department for Payroll support. Providing clear direction, technical guidance and support to the wider payroll team.
      • Provide cover for payroll processing as and when required, delivering accurate and compliant payroll processing for a variety of complex terms, conditions and shift patterns.
      • Support relevant BAU Payroll project activities, ability to scope out and articulate work requirements, delivering accurate results to agreed timescales.
      • Support on all system configuration requirements, including designing and maintaining user acceptance testing scripts, upgrade plans and business change requests. Be responsible for carrying out UAT and system configuration requirements.
      • Identify changes required to the Payroll system, anticipating and managing implications and impacts of any change, feeding this back to the wider team as and when they occur.
      • Support the maintenance of our system support models and carry out an annual review for each key system, updating this accordingly and sharing this with the management team.
      • Administering and reviewing Invoicing ad shopping cart process.
      • Arranging and attending Resource Link service reviews.
      • Raising support tickets with Zellis for Resource Link and dealing with escalations.
      • Proactively review current processes and administer continuous improvements in the payroll department and systems.
      • Take the lead on developing and support processing report requirements.
      • Support the department in producing and maintaining documented procedures for all payroll/time and attendance activities.
      • As part of the payroll system administration team, provide support to the team, monitoring the system administration mailbox and deal with any queries that arise.
      • Have a thorough understanding of all aspects of Payroll from start to finish.
      • Keep up to date with current and future UK legislation.
      • Build solid working relationships with key stakeholders and build a network within the wider business.
      • Demonstrate excellent customer service.

      WHAT TO EXPECT

      • Experience of working in a large multi-site Payroll Department.
      • Experience of being a Payroll System Administrator.
      • Technical knowledge of Resource Link, Microsoft Forms, Power BI, Tableau, Jira
      • Experience of Project delivery.
      • Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills.
      • Excellent customer service skills.
      • Ability to work well under pressure.
      • Experience of working in a SOX environment.
