What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Compile payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, and union dues from time sheets and other records
- Prepare and enter data into computer files, ensuring accurate computation of wages and deductions
- Review computed wages, correct errors, and maintain accuracy of payroll records
- Record changes affecting net wages, including exemptions and insurance coverage, to update master payroll records
- Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions for management review

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED; or two to four years of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and technical procedures
- Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Experience managing high volume, high pace payrolls with collective bargaining associates
- Working knowledge of payroll platforms; experience with ADP Work Force Now is highly desirable

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with a timekeeping system; knowledge of Deltek Costpoint is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve practical problems in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting information to groups effectively
