Job Description
- Req#: JP-005327480
- Reconcile payroll and tax data after each pay period
- Manage all statutory tax correspondence and monitor filings
- Review and approve final tax filings (941s, W-2s, etc.)
- Partner with Finance and Payroll teams to resolve tax-related issues
- Maintain and create specialized tax reports using payroll and third-party vendor software
- Lead quarter-end and year-end tax reporting processes
- Manage relationships with third-party tax vendors and handle exceptions
- Support journal entry preparation and general ledger reconciliations
- Lead special projects and research initiatives related to payroll tax compliance
- Provide payroll-related data to internal and external stakeholders
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in payroll tax filings and compliance
- Strong accounting skills with a sharp eye for detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Experience reconciling payroll tax data and preparing periodic tax forms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Workday or ADP
- FPC or CPP certification
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset
