      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct audits of provider documentation for data quality and compliance with coding guidelines
      - Validate Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding and surgical documentation for professional services
      - Review provider records for accuracy of principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures
      - Identify documentation trends and provide feedback and education to providers
      - Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent is required
      - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is required
      - At least five (5) years of inpatient/outpatient coding experience in a data management, coding management, or coding auditing position
      - Experience auditing E/M services, including inpatient, outpatient, and office-based encounters
      - Availability for emergency situations and flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Health Information Management
      - Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) or equivalent AHIMA certification (CCS, CCS-P)
      - Experience in developing and delivering audit findings and performing provider education
