A minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
Oversee project development of the PBIS program to support identified students
Monitor and oversee the PBIS programs at school sites.
Provide individual and group intervention for the purpose of addressing student behaviors and academic issues.
Advise school teams on determining appropriate services to encourage appropriate behaviors recommended for all students
Collect data and prepare a variety of reports for the purpose of documenting case history, assessments, and placement
Assist school teams with the implementation of PBIS.
Facilitate cross-school district and multi-agency communication with key staff groups.
Prepare a variety of written materials for the purpose of documenting activities, providing references and conveying information.
Participate in individual case consultations.
Assist in providing staff training regarding the PBIS program.
Assist in completing academic and/or social/behavioral assessments at schools.
Fulfill other job-related duties as assigned by School District Administrators.

Working Environment:

Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally, the job requires 65% walking/standing, 25% sitting and 10% lifting/carrying.
