    • A minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience

    • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

    • Oversee project development of the PBIS program to support identified students

    • Monitor and oversee the PBIS programs at school sites.

    • Provide individual and group intervention for the purpose of addressing student behaviors and academic issues.

    • Advise school teams on determining appropriate services to encourage appropriate behaviors recommended for all students

    • Collect data and prepare a variety of reports for the purpose of documenting case history, assessments, and placement

    • Assist school teams with the implementation of PBIS.

    • Facilitate cross-school district and multi-agency communication with key staff groups.

    • Prepare a variety of written materials for the purpose of documenting activities, providing references and conveying information.

    • Participate in individual case consultations.

    • Assist in providing staff training regarding the PBIS program.

    • Assist in completing academic and/or social/behavioral assessments at schools.

    • Fulfill other job-related duties as assigned by School District Administrators.

      Supervises: All staff assigned to program

      Work Days: 210 days

      Qualifications:

      Other Functions:

      Daily attendance and punctuality are required to ensure the goals of the work unit are met.

      Working Environment:

      The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands:

      Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally, the job requires 65% walking/standing, 25% sitting and 10% lifting/carrying.
