Associate’s degree preferred; experience in law enforcement leadership preferred.
Must be a graduate of an accredited law enforcement academy with successful completion of basic police training.
Must hold an active, unencumbered law enforcement certification/license in good standing.
Must hold an active, unencumbered driver's license.
Demonstrated training or certification in the following areas is required:
Leadership and supervision
Crisis intervention
De-escalation techniques
Active shooter response
Experience in a campus or community policing environment
Additional certifications in emergency management, community engagement, or trauma-informed policing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a safe and inclusive campus environment
