PCSM (PowerCurve Strategy Manager) Developer

As a Barclays PCSM Developer, you’ll build and implement scalable, standardized cost effective code using Experian Power Curve Strategy Manager to support credit decision automation and real-time application decision across the UK geography within Risk Decision Team. You’ll also conduct Business Analysis, preparation of business dashboard reports and aid existing Delivery Teams. You’ll liaise with Risk Stakeholders in BUK, BCP and BPS Business.

What will you be doing?

• Developing new strategies or enhancing existing strategies using Strategy Development Studio (SDS various versions) for multiple business portfolios
• Requirement study for arriving at a set of Risk Decision System Business and Technical Requirements
• Designing effective reusable components to improve the development productivity
• Liaising with Business, CRO, BCP and BPS Teams
• Managing compliance and risk

What we’re looking for:

• Hands on programming experience on any workflow tool such as TRIAD, SAS, PCSM, TSM
• A minimum of 1 year experience on any programming language such as JAVA, Python, C#
• Hands-on query tuning, optimization on DB
• Awareness on running queries on Mongo DB and Oracle SQL
• Awareness in Data Mining and Data Analysis

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Bachelor / Master’s Degree in Technology or Equivalent with Strong Technology and/or Business Analysis
• Credit Risk, Lending, Fraud Domain experience
• Java API Development using spring boot
• Knowledge of working in CI/CD environment
