      Job Summary

      Reporting to the Speech Pathology Supervisor with line responsibility to department coordinators, provides pediatric based speech pathology evaluations and treatment. Responsible to the patient and family or significant others for the quality of direct and indirect care delivered. The Speech Pathologist will provide outpatient speech/language/feeding and swallowing services to children (0-18yrs) with developmental, neurological, and medically based communication disorders.

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Education
        • Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology required.
      • Experience
        • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Pediatric Speech Pathologist strongly preferred, including pediatric feeding/swallowing and autism.
      • Licensure and/or Certification
        • Current licensure to practice speech therapy in Massachusetts required.
        • C.C.C. by the American Speech, Hearing & Language Association required.
        • BLS required within 4 months from hire.
      • Skills
        • Problem solving skills.
        • Courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public both in person and on the phone.
        • Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent needs.
        • Committed to Service Excellence and Customer Satisfaction.
        • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
        • Computer skills required.
        • Ability to maintain confidential information.
