What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach, assist, and support clients in performing household activities
- Provide instruction on money-management skills and help clients access financial services
- Facilitate clients' access to reliable transportation options
- Plan and prompt social and leisure-time activities, assisting with transportation as needed
- Participate actively in team meetings for client support and coordination

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma plus completion of Division-approved Peer Specialist Certification Training
- Experience in a volunteer or employment role within a human services setting
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are desirable
- Certified as a Peer Specialist by the Division of MH/DD/SAS (can be obtained post-hire)
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record acceptable to the insurance carrier
