Job Description

- Train and support PEIMS data specialists, campus PEIMS administrators, campus registrars and ADA clerks in the procedures of campus, district, PEIMS, and Student Management Systems.
- Coordinate with software programmers/developers in information Systems for PEIMS Data Collections.
- Coordinate the collection of all data from Finance and HR management systems as they relate to PEIMS.
- Oversee PID reporting: error percentage standards as described in the PEIMS Data Standards and oversee Enrollment Tracking submissions as required by TEA.
- Develop training materials, training district personnel in areas related to PEIMS compliance.
- Assist PEIMS Manager with the standard PEIMS submissions and Core Collection submissions to TEA.
- Assist PEIMS Manager with data research, and data analysis as it pertains to PEIMS data for errors, trends, and state compliance.
- Assist PEIMS Manager with annual Student Information System setups for attendance views, discipline, calendars and instructional program crosswalks.
- Assist PEIMS Manager with running/editing reports and provide verification checks on data to ensure accuracy of information.
- Assist PEIMS Manager with special program data collection processes and adherence to TEA’s Limited Scope Audits; submit required documentation to TEA.
- Assist PEIMS Manager with continued training and information dissemination to enable HR, campus PEIMS administrators, special program directors, and clerks to effectively carry out district procedures respective to student and staff records for PEIMS reporting.

Qualifications:
College hours, high school diploma or GED
Ability to use software to perform data analysis
Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
Ability to prepare and conduct meetings and interact with professional employees
Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities while producing high quality work within deadlines
Demonstrate problem-solving skills
Experience with Student Information System software preferred
Experience with PEIMS, data entry, running reports preferred
Primary Purpose:
Implement TEA rules and guidelines for submitting PEIMS Data. Coordinate the gathering of data for state reports. Work with administrators in charge of special programs to ensure the correct submission of their data in state reports. Serve as a resource for administrators needing reports or other forms of student data. Support PEIMS Manager with standard PEIMS submissions and Core Data submissions.
