Job Description

Serve as the initial point of contact for managers and employees across brands and locations, delivering high-quality assistance in all areas of HR.
Respond to managers and employee queries, including topics related to disciplinary, holidays, overtime, leave, and other HR policies.
Provide clear and detailed step-by-step guidance to managers and employees online, over the phone, or in person.
Manages special projects, sets People Function operations priorities, understands and fulfils requirements timely, evaluates results and responses to impromptu changes.
Compliance with all statutory requirements pertaining to human resource such as Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act and regulations, prepares and acts on potential new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising managers on necessary actions.
Handles disciplinary issues, grievances, domestic inquiry and dispute mediation and ensures compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures and prevailing applicable Acts or Regulations.
Plan and organize employee engagement activities to enhance workplace culture and morale.
Manage foreign workers' hostel operations, conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance and proactively addressing any issues. Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including the renewal of foreign workers’ work permits and any other necessary regulatory obligations.
Administer outsourcing processes, providing support in hiring temporary staff during e-commerce peak periods and updating third-party labor data monthly basis.
Third Party Compliance Assessment and related reports update
Oversee offboarding procedures, conducting exit interviews and ensuring that all PPE and access cards are returned to the designated process owner.
Attend customer audits and ensure all requirements are met in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Coordinate the hiring process, including compiling ERFs for approval, facilitating inter-departmental or inter-company transfers, and managing redeployment activities.
Lead and provide guidance to PAs and to back up them when needs
Manage the relocation process for employees as needed.
Work closely with the People Partner to escalate complex HR matters and support the resolution of employee issues.
Ensure seamless delivery of HR services aligned with the People Partner's strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economic, Mathematics, Human Resource or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years solid HR experience in a fast pace working environment
- Strong knowledge in all aspects of HR processes
- Possess good quantitative and analytical abilities
- Able to communicate effective with all levels of employees
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level skills of using Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent working knowledge of Employment Act 1956, Industrial Relations Act 1967 with the ability to apply it practically to workplace situations.
- Excellent understanding of HR best practices and ability to apply this to employee relations cases.
