- Administration of company policies, procedures, benefit programs, and documentation for People & Culture matters for all southwest locations.
- Assist with recruitment efforts and prepare employees for assignments by planning and conducting orientation and training programs.
- Ensure that all southwest Divisions are compliant with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Effectively manage FMLA leave and disability related tasks and reporting.
- Work and transact within the HRIS system.
- Maintain all records of insurance coverage, 401(k) plans and personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, compensation adjustments, transfers, and terminations for all southwest Divisions.
- In partnership with the People & Culture Manager, facilitate a managers’ training program for interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, sexual harassment, and other key areas.
- Aid and facilitate employee investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations.
- Assist with initiatives designed to recognize performance through bonus, employee reviews, other types of programs, and ensure a regular review process.
- Administer tasks related to recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, utilizing the HRIS system.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program, preferably in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
- Five or more years of human resource administration experience required; at least one year of human resource generalist or management experience preferred
- Knowledge of labor laws, employment law guidelines & policies and compliance regulations, including FMLA.
- Exceptional people skills and experience providing counsel/feedback.
- Ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels within the organization.
- Working knowledge of UKG or related payroll and HR management systems.
- Able to occasionally travel by air and/or ground overnight, as necessary.

Under the supervision of our People & Culture Manager, the person in this role will manage the day-to-day internal People & Culture needs for our Southwest divisions. This person will provide support the implementation, communication, and administration of People & Culture initiatives.
