      Human Resources (HR) are the custodians of the employee experience. We support each of CommBank’s business units from recruiting for their talented teams, through to leadership development and training, internal mobility, advising on employee relations, and delivering remuneration and benefits programs. This role sits within the Organisational Development Chapter Area and will be part of the Culture and Inclusion Chapter with a focus on supporting key HR ambitions.

      As a People Consulting Manager , you will have an initial focus on supporting the People Listening and Recognition squad in supporting the redesign of the recognition strategy and the Group’s pinnacle recognition programs - The Excellence Awards and Everyday Legends to ensure that recognition reinforces and enables cultural priorities (through a values-lens). You will also be involved in supporting the implementation of the people listening strategy.

      Do work that matters:

      • Undertake discovery work utilising human-centred design principles to co-develop best practice solutions.
      • Make actionable recommendations to ensure programs continually evolve to meet the Bank’s people and business needs.
      • Ensure programs achieve the highest standards of quality and efficiency outcomes , from conceptual design to delivery and execution.
      • Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, escalating issues on behalf of the team which may impede program performance/deliverables.
      • Work closely with all key stakeholders including key business champions, suppliers and partners to ensure program objectives are being met and areas of improvement identified.
      • Devise and implement engagement strategies with innovative tactical plans to expand utilisation and maximise cultural change.
      • Use data and feedback to determine opportunities and challenges to develop informed solutions driven by this knowledge.
      • Managing financial, conduct, operational and reputational risks

      We’re interested in hearing from people who:

      • Have Consulting backgrounds or similar work experiences.
      • Can determine suitable methods, approaches and data points required to identify and solve problems within a HR landscape.
      • Partner with stakeholders across the Group and leverage external research to co-create, deliver solutions which reflect the business need.
      • Apply a range of written and verbal communication tools to capture insights and recommendations to inform and influence stakeholders.
      • Support the measurement of impact delivered through building evaluation methods which draw on data to provide insights for both the implementation and effectiveness of solutions.
      • Can apply Conceptual Thinking skills to conceptualize and develop innovative solutions to complex problems..
      • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
      • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
      • Problem-solving, decision-making and prioritisation skills

      This role is a 12 month secondment for internal applicants or a 12 month fixed-term contract for external applicants.
