      About the role
      A People Planner is responsible for delivering a strategic and business-critical function that drives a cultural shift towards people accountability. The People Planning function identifies opportunities to optimize our people first, diversify casting across GroupM as well as support long term growth and performance strategies for each business and its talent. People Planners will implement a tech-enabled, data-driven consistent approach that harmonizes process, rituals and KPI’s to predict future and current workforce needs.
      Responsibilities
      Strategic Partnership
      · Establish trust and ways of working with agency/division, client and discipline leadership to create proactive strategies to align the best talent to the work, connecting career ambitions with operational efficiencies.
      · Regularly engage client, discipline and market leadership on future-facing workforce planning exercises, aligning information related to progression, rotations and retention/employee relations with projected changes in staffing needs and structural team evolutions.
      · Continuously check-in with client and team leads as work progresses; ensuring the resource plan continues to satisfy team needs and to help resolve any obstacles to completion that may arise along the way
      Data-driven Capacity & Staffing Management
      · Work with team leads to continually assess account needs and develop a resource plan to ensure we continue to deliver best-in-class work and consistently meet deadlines set by our clients - leading the reallocation of resources where necessary
      · Monitor group bandwidth and maximize utilization across clients and teams
      · Lead weekly allocation meetings to keep up-to-date with resource needs and make recommendations based on budgets, timelines and clear knowledge and understanding of skill sets across all departments in a client and groups of clients
      · Partner with the People Planning team on a daily and weekly basis for resource sharing
      · Drive staffing recommendations based on budgets, timelines and clear knowledge and understanding of skill sets across all departments/clients in the market
      · Maintain accurate allocations database for group while flagging any resource bandwidth to appropriate stakeholders
      · Maintain, analyze and publish the following: Utilization & billability reports, capacity plan by group of clients/accounts, trends and forecast summaries, timesheet compliance and other ad hoc reports as requested
      · Partner with Talent Acquisition team to identify when internal resources are not available to fit staffing needs, prepare staff or freelance position requests
      Internal Mobility & Career Optimization
      · Consult with employees on their career growth ambitions and opportunities available for mobility across all part groups in the organization
      · Work with the broader People team to identify and assess employee’s interests and development areas, offering opportunities to align client scopes to employee’s growth and mobility desires.
      · Facilitate seemless internal rotations, keeping all stakeholders appropriately updated and managing risk
      A bit about yourself:
      · Proven track record with experience in Talent Management/Resource Management/HR, Commercial, Project Management or Operations experience a plus.
      · Demonstrable experience of managing a range of employment-related matters
      · Confidence and ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
      · A strong work ethic; able to work under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and deliver results.
      · Exceptional diligence and attention to detail as well as resourcefulness and quick, practical thinking in a demanding environment
      · Affinity for numbers, leveraging a data-driven, analytical approach to decision making
