Job Description

- Performs some or all of the following functional areas as assigned by HRM: HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, and employment
- Assists HRM/department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees.
- Facilitates new hire onboarding and orientation program.
- Maintains human resources information system records (ADP, Revver, HCHB/Cubhub, iCIMS, Relias, and Docusign), and compiles reports as needed/assigned.
- Assists/performs background screening, pulling investigation reports, court records, reference checks and any other credential verifications necessary.
- Coordinates performance review process for all employees assigned
- Coordinates equipment/device needs including setup and transitions to preceptor for documentation orientation
- Maintains the employee renewable requirements and proactively notifies employees/managers prior to expiration of HR documents.
- Prepares or maintains employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
- Coordinates with HRM on tasks pertaining to benefits and payroll
- Maintains strict confidentiality on patient, agency, and employee matters.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently
- Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others
- Attains goals as agreed upon with the HRM
- Other duties as assigned
- Associates Degree or 1+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of human resources best practices
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Understand instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Work with multiple teams within an organization

Responsibilities
Team Select Home Care is looking for a People Services Specialist to join our Team Select family. The People Services Specialist conducts orientation and onboarding activities for new hire and rehire employees within their assigned customer group. In addition, the PSS manages and updates employee files to ensure they are up to date and compliant. The People Services Specialist will report to the Director of Operations.
