Currently PepsiCo Beverages Canada, Moncton Facility is recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to help support our Production team. Responsibilities Maintaining equipment in a satisfactory condition for safe operation Executing preventative maintenance schedules Performing equipment repairs as needed Installing new equipment and systems Improving the operation efficiency of production equipment and central services Diagnosing equipment malfunctions and optimizing running settings Interacting daily with computerized maintenance and parts programs Working with other departments on process improvement activities Recommending changes and/or improvements to plant equipment/facilities/procedures Working with outside contractors and other trades Operating and changing over equipment as required Performing all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner Keeping work area orderly and clean Other tasks as directed by Maintenance lead hands and/or Supervisors Qualifications Must exhibit a safety first mindset Must hold a valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic / Millwright license (433A) with a certificate of Qualification Experience in the beverage/food/packaged goods industry preferred Must be skilled in use of machine shop equipment (lathe, mill, grinder, etc.) Must be able to lift/carry 50-85 lbs Must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching and grasping Must be able to work on computers and iPads Must be able to work night shifts or weekend shifts as required Benefits Defined Contribution pension plan with company match Extended Health Care Dental Care Life Insurance Paid Vacation Time
