We are looking for an LPN to work with our Occupational Health Team at MedWorks.
The role will support the Vaccination clinics at Bristol Health as well as the Occupational Health Clinic - MedWorks.
Under the direction of the Occupational Health RN, the LPN will carry out a variety of treatments, technical tasks and procedures, providing support for to the Occupational Health Physician and RN.
Assist with all Employee Health programs. Conduct pre-placement evaluations of new hires including assessments of medical history, immunizations and drug screens.
Support vaccination clinics, Hepatitis B, seasonal flu vaccination programs.
Maintain medical records according to HIPAA standards
LPN will manage employee first report of injury reports and determine further evaluation requirements.
Assist the five point referral process for all fo the employees with insurance carriers, approved physicians, physical therapy, company HR departments and patients.
Set up sterile field for provider and assist with surgical procedures
Administer first aid to injuries
Ensure proper ordering of immunizations and supplies.
Qualifications
Certifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse, State of Connecticut
UDS Collector, BAT, Hearing Conservationist (certified), pulmonary function (certified), preferred
Phlebotomy certified according to Bristol Hospital Lab.
CPR Certification (Preferred American Heart Association)
