What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and provide education for obstetric patients planning to deliver at the hospital
- Evaluate and revise educational offerings based on feedback
- Serve on obstetric committees for data collection and interpretation
- Assist in policy and procedure development as needed
- Collaborate on patient care processes and practices before and after discharge

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and five years of experience -OR- bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing and two years of experience
- Current Alabama RN license or Multi-State RN License in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama
- Strong understanding of evidence-based clinical decision making
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Experience in obstetric care or maternal health education
