This position plans and directs the administrative and operational activities of the service line across the
continuum of care. This position is responsible for performing long-term and short-term planning,
developing strategic initiatives and policies. Additionally, individuals in this position will collaborate with
various departments and committees to cultivate meaningful relationships with physicians, hospital
leadership, and other internal and external stakeholders. This role will require skills in project management
and the ability to implement strategies and demonstrate success in generating volume growth for assigned
service line. The Service Line Leader will perform these duties in a manner that promotes quality patient
care and patient satisfaction, adhering to the mission, vision, and values of MidMichigan Health.

Your training at the Midland Family Medicine Residency Program will take place mainly at MidMichigan Medical Center Midland.
The Medical Center is the "flagship" of MidMichigan Health, an integrated health system composed of a variety of health care organizations and joint ventures. MidMichigan Health is affiliated with the University of Michigan Health System.

The Midland campus is MidMichigan Health's largest center, and features a patient tower with private patient rooms which opened in 2011. In addition to the 250-bed Medical Center, the campus includes an ambulatory surgery center, Center for Women's Health, infusion center and multiple medical office buildings.
It is a regional referral site as well as a community medical center.
In addition to the Midland campus, MidMichigan Health has other Medical Center campuses in Alma, Alpena, Clare, Gladwin, Mt. Pleasant and West Branch.
