Job Description

- Serve as the primary representative and coordinator for all book, ESV Bible, and tract permissions–fielding all requests, corresponding with requesting parties, facilitating decisions, and following up.
- Negotiate permissions terms and prepare and archive permissions documents.
- Receive, evaluate, and respond to all requests for permission to use Crossway content.
- Maintain existing online permission forms and implement any changes, as directed.
- Manage permission requests from Crossway’s ESV API.
- Facilitate shipments of translated books to authors, and build and maintain Crossway’s physical archives of licensed products.
- Manage prisoner requests and process them for fulfillment.
- Record and distribute detailed minutes and action items at licensing team meetings and other Crossway meetings, as assigned.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- This is a NON-REMOTE position
- 4-year college degree or equivalent professional work experience
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize a large volume of work
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt schedule and set priorities accordingly under pressure
- Interest in book and Bible publishing

Permissions Coordinator (Full Time)
Reports to: Licensing Process Manager
General Responsibilities:
The Permissions Coordinator’s role is to give oversight to Crossway’s permissions program by fielding all permissions requests related to all Crossway publications.
Specific Responsibilities:
Skills and experience:
The Permissions Coordinator role requires high organizational skills, thoroughness, and a proven ability to manage details of multiple projects with accuracy. The Coordinator should be able to work well independently and within a small team, serving others in the workplace. To perform the given responsibilities well, the Coordinator should be gifted in verbal and written communication. This role also requires an understanding of and agreement with Crossway’s mission, ethos and standards. Familiarity with Google Suite would be helpful.

Benefit Program:
Salary:
Salary range: $40-$50k per year; Competitive salary based on previous work experience, education, acquired skills, and established relationships. Salary commensurate with current standards for comparable positions and responsibilities within publishing and other leading not-for-profit ministries. Compensation is reviewed and evaluated annually by the Executive Compensation Committee (ECC) of the Crossway Board of Directors.
