Job Description

- Be responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming and feeding, light house keeping, and grocery shopping.
- Ability to coordinate schedules with multiple clients
- Giving patients important social and emotional support.
- Medication reminders.
- Drive to different locations in San Diego.
- Maintains confidentiality of all client information, in accordance with HIPAA standards
- Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions
- Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions
- Adheres to Caregiver standards and procedures of the Company
- Represents the Company with a positive image at all times
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of all facilities
- Effectively communicates with the office staff, including availability to work
- Adheres to time and attendance policies
- Provides requirements-related information (Annual PPD, In-services, etc.) in a timely fashion; follows all other compliance standards at all times
- At least one year working as a caregiver
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- TB Test
- Home Care Aide (HCA)
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with Elderly/Children with Disabilities
- Mileage reimbursement

Type: Part Time or Full time
Salary: $18 - $25 an hour
(Wage varies per shift type.)
Location: North County (Escondido, Oceanside, Vista, Carlsbad, Poway)
Schedule : Mon-Sun: Part-time, Full-time, day time, evenings and/or overnight shifts.
The Home Care Aide will provide assistance to a variety of patients IN-HOME care setting. This could include assistance with Personal Care, Showering/Bathing, Companion Care, etc. The age of these clients varies from toddler age to elderly clients.
