What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Make outbound sales calls to potential guests interested in Holland America Line's cruises
- Build relationships with guests to develop referrals and repeat business
- Manage a database and contact guests at the right time with the right message
- Utilize exceptional listening skills and ask qualified discovery questions to close sales
- Meet performance metrics and objectives for outbound calls and emails
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Energetic, sales-minded, and performance-driven individuals
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using new computer systems, with prior experience in Excel and Outlook preferred
- Availability to work within department hours, including one weekend day
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience as a sales consultant in a relationship-based role
- Familiarity with the cruise industry or travel industry
- Previous experience in outbound sales calls and email campaigns
