Multiple Roles
Locations: Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver,
Assist the Personal Relationship Manager in optimizing overall profitability of relationships with clients based on return guidelines, customer risk profile, total banking relationship, and driven environment.
Support clients on the end-to-end process of Personal borrowing by screening, interviewing and determining their needs to assist with completion of their loan application
Partner with the Relationship Managers to establish pricing, terms of credit, produce ongoing credit reviews and risk ratings that reflect knowledge of CWB policies and procedures
Assess and process mortgage renewals as the need arises
Credit recommendations are within full compliance of Canadian regulatory procedures and OSFI protocol specific to Personal Lending.
Responsible to ensure the safety of the Bank’s funds through accurate regulatory practices and loan portfolio management with focus on loan quality, exposure limits and security requirements.
Identify potential risk that can lead to difficulty in repayment or potential default on the loan
Support the achievement of Banking Centre’s financial objectives through completion of necessary due diligence, underwriting, and recommendation of new and existing Personal lending solutions.
Act as the primary contact to the client during the loan submission.
Actively find opportunities for full-service solutions and refer to other business partners both within banking centres and across CWB with the view to be every client’s primary financial partner.
Preparation of loan contracts and ensuring they are executed accurately
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field considered an asset
OSFI’s Residential Mortgage Underwriting Policy (RMUP)
Working understanding of mortgage insurance requirements (CMHC, Genworth)
Expert knowledge of collateral security and personal lending documentation requirements.
AML/KYC practices
3 plus years financial services experience in a client facing role within functions of risk management, banking and/or personal lending, including direct experience in Personal credit writing and loan origination systems.
