      Your Role
      Assume actuarial ownership of an International Personal Lines (IPL) portfolio by supporting the portfolio management team in driving profitable growth. This includes leading portfolio and reserve reviews, developing technical cost models, implementing pricing strategies, and enhancing monitoring sophistication.

      Your Responsibilities

      • Lead and perform portfolio performance and reserve reviews.
      • Execute pricing projects, including pricing reviews, build technical cost models and demand models, and develop/enhance rating algorithms.
      • Lead and conduct portfolio monitoring projects, including enhancing the sophistication of the monitoring framework.
      • Present to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and frontline businesses, and helping formulate business strategy.
      • Promote innovation by constantly improving current processes with a focus on automation

      Qualifications

      Your Skills & Experience

      • 5-10 years of relevant actuarial experience in the insurance industry.
      • Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or equivalent.
      • Familiarity with Python, EMBLEM (preferred), and RADAR (preferred).
      • Expertise in actuarial pricing and reserving concepts.
      • Experience collaborating on IT projects.
      • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
      • Effective stakeholder management, translating complex terms into clear and concise language.
      • Proficient in data analytics and problem-solving.
      • Adaptable to changing priorities.
