      The Team:

      The Personal Systems organization creates a full ecosystem of digital experiences through advancing leadership in computing, creating immersive experiences through peripherals, and expanding digital services.

      Responsibilities:

      As a Hardware Engineer Intern, you will work with a team with Personal Systems on projects to:

      • Design new computer hardware, creating blueprints of computer equipment to be built
      • Test completed models of the computer hardware they design
      • Analyze test results and modify design as needed
      • Update existing computer equipment so that it will work with new software
      • Oversee the manufacturing process for computer hardware
      • Maintain knowledge of computer engineering trends and new technology

      Education and Experience Required:

      • High School Degree
      • 2nd or 3rd Year of Bachelor's degree completed or 1st year of Master's completed--typically a technical degree specialization.

      Preferred Majors:

      • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree with a focus on Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

      Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $25 -- $36 hourly . Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
