Job Description
- Req#: 18747
- Perform welding tasks for rail maintenance projects according to industry standards and project requirements
- Carry out inspections and tests to ensure the quality and integrity of welds
- Collaborate with the project team to coordinate work activities and meet project deadline
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, at all times
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of welding activities
- Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Perway Welder in the rail construction industry
- TLIW0036 – Apply Electric Weld Process to Rail
- TLIW005: Grind Switches and Crossings
- Proficient in Arc welding
- Strong knowledge of rail construction standards and specifications
- Ability to interpret construction plans and drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous boilermaker experience preferred but not essential
