- Clinical Supervision and Leadership for the Pharmacy Department * Serve as a resource for expert opinion on medication therapy for other clinical professionals. * Work cooperatively with Pharmacy staff in their professional development and the development of clinical duties assigned to them. * Supervise and check all work performed by technicians. * Participate in maintenance of records of pharmacy transactions as required by state and federal laws. * Assist with inventory control procedures such as ordering and receiving of medications/supplies. Help procure medications and supplies from whatever source necessary to serve our patients.
- Efficiently and accurately processes prescriptions. Maintains accurate perpetual inventory of controlled substances. Oversees activities of pharmacy personnel.

- Provides clinical support to patients remotely Works collaboratively with physicians to provide the highest quality of care for patients
- Pharmacy Students and Company Relations * Cooperate in the orientation of high school age and other students to hospital pharmacy practice. * Comply with the guidelines for pharmacy students maintained by the Education Department. * Maintain professional relations with pharmaceutical manufacturer representatives. * Assist in orientation, education and training of pharmacy students/interns. * Assist students involved in job shadowing.
- Graduate of accredited college of pharmacy Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Pharmacy Required
- Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) Preferred
- 1-3 years Experience in a clinical or retail pharmacy setting Preferred
- 1-3 years Previous computer experience Preferred
- Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
- Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Knowledge of plant and animal organisms, their tissues, cells, functions, interdependencies, and interactions with each other and the environment.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

A Brief Overview
Dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use. May advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications. Provides safe and effective pharmaceutical care to customers while working with support staff.
The pharmacist will be part of a collaborative practice agreement with physicians participating in the program to remotely manage patients enrolled in the virtual care model. The pharmacist will review lab values, including and not limited to weight, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, etc.. to assess the appropriateness of the patient's drug regimen. The pharmacist will make necessary adjustments to drug therapy based on developed model.
