      About us

We are a well-established training practice (training GPs and nurses) on the outskirts of Cheltenham, serving a semi-rural population of around 10,500 patients. Our supportive team includes 5 partners, 3 salaried GPs, 4 practice nurses, 1 healthcare assistant and a phlebotomist. Our GPs interests include dermatology, womens health, diabetes, and gastroenterology.

We have a PCN team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, who work across the network of 5 practices. Your role would be different, as you would be working at one site only, and employed directly by Stoke Road Surgery. However, you will be working alongside the PCN pharmacy team.

  • About the company

National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the publicly-funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom (UK). The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery—a health service based on clinical need, not ability to pay. Each service provides a comprehensive range of health services, free at the point of use for people ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom apart from dental treatment and optical care.
