To manage operational and clinical functions of the hospital pharmacy. Assist in assure all legal and regulatory requirements are satisfied. Manage pharmacy technicians and students. Assure pharmacy services and activities are carried out to meet goals and standards of Martha’s Vineyard Hospital.
DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY:
This position has been delegated to a licensed pharmacist who has the authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out assigned duties.

!*!EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrates working knowledge and understanding of pharmaceuticals and pharmacy practice standards.
Processes, approves and makes standard recommendations in response to physician orders using facility systems.
Adheres to established regulatory and accreditation standards.
Follows and may make recommendations on pharmacy best practice standards to optimize patient care and reduce cost.
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Massachusetts license
EXPERIENCE:
• 2-4 years related pharmacy experience.
