HMP Brixton is a category C prison which will shortly be changing to a category B prison, based in the South West London, close to Brixton underground station. Within this role you will be working closely with a large established Pharmacy team, including one other Pharmacist and a Principle pharmacist. The site boasts a newly renovated Pharmacy to enable high quality delivery of pharmacy services. Within this role you will be dispensing, second checking, delivering meds review and supporting with minor ailment clinics. Hours Tuesday and Friday 9am- 5pm Salary This position is part time position working 15 hours/2 days per week, you'll receive an annual salary up to £60,926 per annum - FTE depending on experience.       Main duties of the job

      As the Clinical Pharmacist your responsibilities will vary. You will:

      • Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service
      • Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring a safe and modern medicines management services
      • Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

      Qualifications & Experience
      • GPhC registered Pharmacist.
      • Vocational Masters Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
      • Excellent communication skills
      • Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
