  Position Summary
  The Pharmacist – MA Clinical Support position is responsible for providing clinical expertise and excellent communication skills to support beneficiaries in the CVS Accountable Care organization. This position will focus on beneficiaries enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans to provide resources and assistance to drive STARS outcomes or Quality Measures. Pharmacists will engage in telephone calls with plan beneficiaries to discuss care gaps and potential solutions. Outreach to providers, pharmacists, and other stakeholders is required. The Pharmacist – Clinical Support will also be responsible for managing a caseload, analyzing data and organizing and documenting all relevant interactions. Other duties may also be assigned by the leadership team.

  Responsibilities

  • Work with a care team of pharmacy technicians, providers, and allied health professionals to support the needs of Medicare beneficiaries

  • Speak one on one with Medicare beneficiaries and/or their caregivers over the phone to close gaps in care and document outcomes.

  • Contact provider offices or speak with pharmacies as needed to gather information

  Schedule/Location

  • Full time. 9am-6pm EST Monday – Friday (may vary based on time zone)

  • 100% remote, work at home

  Required Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in NY, IL, NC, or SC.

  • 3+ years experience in a Clinical Pharmacist role

  • Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal methods with program staff and members.

  • Ability to work independently to complete caseload.

  • Work in a matrixed and rapidly changing environment.

  • Candidate must have access to personal broad-band internet access in work-from-home environment

  • Candidate must be able to ensure a private workspace within work-from-home environment

  • Ability to obtain licensure in additional states if required

  • Performs other duties as required

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Residency training

  • Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist, Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, or Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist

  Education

  • Current, unrestricted U.S. state pharmacy license required

  • Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy required.

  Pay Range

  The typical pay range for this role is:

  $72,306.00 - $181,700.00

  This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
