      Pay Range: $124,390 - $157,574 USD Annually.

      Purpose of Job:
      Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing pharmaceutical care in the following ways:

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Reviews prescriptions and prepares medications for dispensing.
      • Counsels’ patients on medication drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
      • Provides clinical reviews of patient charts and operates under collaborative drug therapy agreement protocols.
      • Aids in helping patients obtain insurance/patient assistance options.
      • Acts as a part of the care team providing consultation for specific disease states.
      • Maintains established procedures of quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and HIPAA.
      • Directs pharmacy technicians, assistants, and interns.
      • Accesses computer for data entry, pharmacy files, patient charts, and inventory.
      • Utilizes cutting edge technology with electronic health records and Scriptpro.
      • Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.


      Qualifications:
      Education/Experience: Rph or PharmD from accredited school of pharmacy. Current valid licensure in the state of Washington and/or Idaho required. Prior non-profit experience preferred.

      Skills: Excellent oral and written communications skills required. Computer skills required. Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment required. Valid drivers' license and insurance required.

      Physical Demands:
      Pharmacists must be able to move around the facility between 1/3rd and 2/3rds of the day, while sitting at a workstation occurs under 1/3rd of the day. Using hands and reaching with arms occurs over 2/3rds of the day. Communicating is also required over 2/3rds of the day, while climbing, stooping or crawling is minimal. Lifting up to 10 lbs occurs occasionally, while 25-50 lbs occurs infrequently.
