      The Position

      As a Pharmacovigilance Associate, you will be maintaining and continuously improving the affiliate Pharmacovigilance and Device Vigilance systems in Egypt. In addition, you will be acting as deputy Local Safety Responsible (LSR) on a 24-hour basis.

      Your main responsibilities will be:

      • You will monitor the safety profiles of our marketed products and address any emerging safety concerns

      • You will conduct Pharmacovigilance training for internal employees and external partners

      • You will handle Pharmacovigilance cases, customer complaints, and adverse events for marketed products

      • You will ensure compliance with local and global regulations related to Pharmacovigilance activities

      • You will collaborate with the Regulatory & Safety team at our headquarters

      Qualifications

      As a Pharmacovigilance Associate, you need to be familiar with regulatory guidelines and requirements related to drug safety. Moreover, you need to have a good understanding of regulations set forth by health authorities, and you need to be detail-oriented and capable of drawing meaningful conclusions from complex information.

      To be successful in this role:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Pharma is a must; Postgraduate studies will be a plus.

      • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance and risk management within a multinational organization is a huge plus

      • Strong knowledge of local and global regulations related to Pharmacovigilance

      • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

      • Proficiency in both spoken & written English and Arabic language

      About the Department

      The Pharmacovigilance department in Novo Nordisk Egypt is responsible for ensuring the safety of our products and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. We work closely with local health authorities and internal stakeholders such as regulatory, commercial, and medical teams to detect, assess, understand, and communicate safety information. Our team is dedicated to patient safety and strives to make a positive impact on the healthcare industry in Egypt.
