Description:


Performs audits, supervises, reviews and analyzes patient bills and medical records for accuracy in charging and documentation. Identifies problems and recommends improved revenue capturing procedures and controls. Communicates with various department heads to ensure accuracy of billing and develops programs to deal with repetitive errors within departments. Develops routine projects in the effort to help educate hospital nursing staff. Assist in Reimbursement Pharmaceutical Program Audits. Estimated salary range for this position is $57630.42 - $74919.55 / year depending on experience.

• Bachelors.

• This role requires critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• The incumbent must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action when required and has at least 5 years of Cerner informatics experience.
