- Accountable for the development and execution of a client-specific comprehensive strategic plan. The strategic plan reflects the ESI/client business arrangement and demonstrates a high level of consultative services (Business and Clinical).
- Manage and strengthen client relationships and ensure satisfaction levels are met. Responsible for client renewals, upsells, and for meeting client retention targets.
- Monitors and reports progress related to the client-specific strategic plan, through formal presentations, executive level reports, etc., and ensures the timely delivery, consistency, and success of the process.
- Leads, participates, and contributes in all client-related meetings, both external and internal. Assists in consultations with key decision makers and presentations at local, regional and national level via communications, executive reports, meetings, etc.
- Ability to review and analyze client plan performance data to provide meaningful insights on past performance and future strategy based on the data.

- Upsells, renewals, proposals, presentations, analysis, day-to-day issues.
- Degree in Pharmacy and at least four years of successful experience interfacing directly with clients.
- Licensed Pharmacist
- 1- 3 years of experience in formulary management and rebate optimization
- Knowledge of PBM or health care industry required.
- Strategic thinking ability and skills to prepare business plans and execute them appropriately to accomplish business objectives.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work to meet client needs.
- Strong team orientation, commitment to sales and client service and desire to succeed.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills required.
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Clinical Consultant is directly responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with assigned clients that are strategic, consultative, and proactive. The Clinical Consultant focuses on both business and clinically based business initiatives and is responsible for client retention and client satisfaction.
Oversees and directs all team members assigned to specific clients to ensure clients are receiving expected services, and taking advantage of ESI products and services that will enhance ESI/client performance.
