Job Description
- Req#: 4455
- Triage all incoming phone calls and faxes.
- Work rejected real-time claims for all pharmacies supported by the program.
- Work with pharmacies to process claims and ensure timely dispensing of medications.
- Work with facility staff and program offering documents to gather pertinent information needed to secure successful adjudication.
- Call insurance plans to follow-up on submitted prior authorizations, when applicable.
- Communicate to the staff and then escalate to the Program Manager any unresolved issues in claims processing.
- Proactively monitor daily claims to identify potential claims issues before prescription abandonment.
- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
- Display behavior which exemplifies employee code of conduct guidelines.
- Maintain current and good standing with Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant, as required.
- Knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication process
- Knowledge of pharmacy claims processing software
- Accurate data entry
- High level of customer service and empathy
- Experience with PC and Microsoft Word and Excel a must.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills along with problem solving skills required.
- Ability to problem solve under pressure.

The dedicated Pharmacy Concierge Specialist, under the direction of the Program Manager, is responsible for assisting pharmacies, physicians, and patients during the coordination of benefit process when a prior authorization is required. The Dedicated Pharmacy Concierge Specialist primarily offers guidance to pharmacists who require assistance processing a claim within the pharmacy’s adjudication system. The Pharmacy Concierge Specialist troubleshoots claim rejection and processing errors to ensure no patient walks away without a successful offer.What you will do:
To be successful, you will possess excellent communication and organization skills, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally, multitask, meet deadlines and be flexible in a fast-paced work environment. Strong computer skills in data entry and Microsoft Office programs are also critical to your success.What we need from you:
