      As a Pharmacy market administration officer in our dedicated team, you will work with the Team Manager and SME’s in the delivery of an excellent customer focused service, sometimes in pressurised situations, whilst maintaining high quality and accuracy levels at all times. The role requires you to develop an understanding of the Pharmacy application and notification regulations, using the pharmacy manual to progress applications from receipt to completion, liaising with the relevant NHS commissioning body.

      Responsibilities

      • To ensure that all Pharmacy applications and notifications are compliant with regulations and follow the pharmacy manual process.

      • Delivering a high-quality service, attention to detail is essential, with the ability to professionally communicate with customers and colleagues, minimising complaints.

      • Ensure that applications and notifications are processed within defined timescales and according to policy and procedures.

      • Understand and positively contribute towards the overall achievement of service levels and KPI’s through achievement of personal goals and performance targets.

      • Engagement and attendance at daily huddles and team meetings.

      • Understand risk and information governance, ensuring mandatory training is completed at minimum 95%.

      • Accuracy of HR systems including AMS and workday (both to mirror each other)

      • Embed continuous improvement, responding to people survey and proactively contribute to improving the service. Actively identifying opportunities for improvement and understanding how your personal contribution impacts on delivery of the service as a whole.

      • Provide a high degree of quality and achieve accuracy benchmarks in everything you do

      • Offer flexibility across multiple disciplines based on the demands of the business.

      • Assist other parts of PCSE as and when required including contact centre

      Skills & Experience

      • Ideally has 6 months or more experience within an administration role.

      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in a team environment and one to one with customers and colleagues.

      • Previous experience in a regulatory process would be beneficial.

      • Excellent keyboard skills.

      • Excellent focus on quality and acute attention to detail, maintaining robust audit trails at all times.

      • Comfortable working to specific targets, goals and deadlines.

      • Ability to use Word, Adobe Pro, Excel, Outlook Email & Calendar at a high level.

      • Experience on customer management systems would be beneficial.

      • Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal

      • It is essential that you are equally comfortable working in a team, as well as on your own initiative
