      Pharmacy Skills-Lab Coordinator

      Pharmacy Skills-Lab Coordinator is responsible for supporting the laboratory faculty in the delivery of coursework in an assigned year(s)/course(s) of the Integrated Patient Care Laboratory. This position assists with management of medication inventory and in the training and orientation of personnel and students to the laboratory services and programs. This role is responsible for preparing the laboratory with needed equipment and products before each lab session. The Pharmacy Skills-Lab Coordinator also assists in scheduling activities, organization of student-submitted work and documentation of student grades. A key component of this position is also facilitating the use of technology by students and lab personnel.


      Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Minimum of 2 years pharmacy experience and/or experience in health profession education is required.


      Desired Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn other software systems used in the lab, and have an aptitude for the basic math functions used in pharmacy. Experience with educational technology and/or in a collegiate, skills-based learning environment is also highly desired. Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role in a hospital setting is desired.

      Additional Information:

      The pay range for this job profile is $47,195 - $62, 046. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications. This position is paid hourly.
