      Moore Regional Hospital’s pharmacy team seeks a dedicated professional to assist inpatient pharmacists in preparing medications, managing drug inventory, and ensuring safe and efficient medication management services that enhance the patient experience.

      Are you a detail-oriented pharmacy technician looking to make a real impact in healthcare? Do you have a special knack for details and wish to help fulfill FirstHealth’s mission “to Care for People”? A great work ethic, strong communication, people skills and computer literacy are essential qualities for the successful candidate.

      FirstHealth’s inpatient pharmacy technicians perform a wide range of tasks that include, but are not limited to:

      · sterile compounding

      · non-sterile drug compounding

      · pharmacy inventory duties (stocking, rotation of stock, outdate checking, etc.)

      · medication distribution

      · preparing patient-specific medications

      · stocking and inventory management of Omnicell automated drug cabinets

      · emergency drug kit preparation


      Qualifications

      Qualifications (required):

      · high school diploma or GED

      · eligibility to obtain PTCB technician certification within one year

      · computer literacy

      · great personality and ability to get along well with others

      · desire to serve internal customers and patients

      Qualifications (preferred):

      · pharmacy technician experience

      · hospital inpatient pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred
