- Maintains an established inventory of drugs and commonly used supplies, minor housekeeping activities and department cleaning/disinfecting/decontaminating standards, re-orders and stocks items upon delivery to ensure immediate availability.
- Ensures Pharmacist product verification and facilitates the timely and appropriate distribution of medications to maintain product integrity.
- Maintains accurate records and patient profiles including charging and crediting.
- Responds timely to customers' needs by answering phone calls, receiving and distributing messages, and triaging requests appropriately.
- Conducts regular quality assurance inspections focused on TJC requirements, including the examination of product integrity and expiration.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Successful completion of an ASHP accredited technician training program or enrollment in a professional-related school preferred.
- 6 months experience as Pharmacy Technician or completion of ASHP-accredited tech training program preferred.
- Current CPhT certification through either PTCB or NHA and active Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration, or current enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy with a current Georgia Pharmacy Intern license.
- Must maintain certification and registration through entire length of employment.

Description
Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, our Pharmacy Technician/ PRN procures, prepares, packages, and distributes and disposes medications and pharmaceutical supplies to assist the department in providing quality pharmaceutical care for all patients.
Shift Time: 7a-3:30p
