What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Translate prescriptions and enter information in patient profiles
- Conduct quality assurance, outreach to prescribers and patients, and report adverse events
- Research current and past prescription orders
- Navigate through multiple systems
- Process overrides and handle exceptions on prescription orders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and valid license in Missouri
- Minimum of one year of experience in a retail pharmacy, PBM, or Health Plan setting
- High School diploma or GED
- National Certification through PTCB or NHA
- Strong math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
- Ability to learn internal systems and processes
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-stress situations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Patient Care Advocate
