- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- or equivalent experience
- Relocation costs not covered by employer
- Willing to relocate
- Repair, build and modify prosthetic or orthotic appliances or footwear
- Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians
- Assemble or build prosthetic and orthotic appliances according to drawings, measurements and plaster casts
- Plan menus and diet for individuals or groups under direction of dietition or nutritionist
- Assist in supervising personnel who prepare and serve food
- Bill third party insurers
- Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams
- Help patients complete menus
- Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
- Assist dietitians with research in food, nutrition and food service systems
- Clean and restore ocular prostheses
- Interpret physician's specification
- Advise patients on loss of depth perception
- 3-4 people
