What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Associate prescription images to patient profiles and create patient profiles in the system if needed
- Prepare prescriptions for processing, including assessing the validity of prescription
- Manually route orders to the appropriate stage for processing, validation, or clarity from healthcare providers
- Accurately enter prescriptions into the system, run test claims, and support patients with their medication orders
- Interact directly with healthcare providers and insurance companies, resolving issues and providing guidance to patients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Relevant experience or a willingness to learn
- Valid National Pharmacy Technician certification
- Valid Arizona State pharmacy technician license
- Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with prescription claims and knowledge of rejections
- Prior Authorization experience
