      Overview

      Job Summary

      Under the direct supervision of staff pharmacists, according to standard procedures, assists in dispensing and transporting medications, begins an introduction to non-sterile and/or sterile compounding and maintains appropriate records.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Maintains quality assurance standards and maintenance of required documentation. Includes maintaining regulatory cleanliness compliance.

      • Assists in the preparation of medication orders which includes management of workflow, and basic preparation and dispensing, including non-sterile compounding.

      • Use of automated/electronic systems to manage product preparation, inventory management, patient records, and regulatory compliance.

      • Maintenance of inventory which includes inventory storage, ordering, rotating, beyond use dating, and cleanliness.

      • Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.


      Minimum Qualifications

      • High School Diploma or GED

      • No Experience

      • No Supervisor Experience

      • State Bd Pharm Registration


      Preferred Qualifications

      • Pharmacy Tech Certification

      Work Shift

      Rotating Schedule (United States of America)
