      Job summary

      Ellergreen Medical Centre are looking to recruit to the post of Pharmacy Technician, to work as part of the North Liverpool Primary Care Network. The role is based within Ellergreen Medical Centre which is a large practice in the Norris Green area of Liverpool. The role will be embedded within the team at Ellergreen Medical Centre and supported by a full time Pharmacist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our experienced clinical and administration team in an interesting environment. The post holder will work closely with our established Pharmacist to develop an excellent support to the patients and staff at Ellergreen Medical Centre.

      Main duties of the job

      Key duties and responsibilities are to work with Pharmacists and Clinicians through agreed prescribing protocols. Provide technical and administrative support to the Clinical Pharmacists and Clinicians. Support the Primary Care Team with queries around medication from patients.

      Ellergreen Medical Centre is based in Norris Green, Liverpool. Ellergreen Medical Centre has 8 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GP's, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 5 Practice Nurses, 1 Pharmacist, 2 Health Care Assistants and an excellent administration support team. We have a list size of approximately 13200 patients.
